Someday we'll all be together once more
On the other side of the world people are celebrating Australia Day. Here in America I'll have to make do with some Tim Tams and thoughts of meat pies. Honestly, I'd much rather be down under enjoying the free admission to all the Sydeny museums, the antique car shows, and the masses of people thronging the CBD. Instead I get to deal with sub zero temperatures and the equivalent of 'just another day at the office'. (I wouldn't mind having a real office though). Anyway, just wanted to wish all of you down under an amazingly fun and special day. Enjoy the sun and the sausages and remember that 'no matter how far or how wide I roam, I still call Australia home'.

Hey there,
Australia Day was kinda surreal for me this year. I went in to the city to do some stuff and while I was there I think I heard maybe 3 Australian voices the entire time. The rest were American. Turns out the USS Ronald Reagan is in town and apparently its crew of 6000 got some shore leave today. Anyway very Bizarre... Enjoy the Tim Tams :)
A2, Good to hear. We managed to get the obligatory BBQ and sausages in for Australia Day. Don't know if it made the news over there, but it was G'Day LA week last week. The Swans played an exhibition game against the Kangaroos. Hope that all is well on the other side of the world.

My family and I are planning a trip to NY in August this year. Something of a reunion as both my bros are overseas atm. I was wondering if you had any suggestions on the best way to see the city etc.?? Its coming up to Biofutures time AGAIN! So soon! Lyss is in a state! he he he Anyway, catch up with you soon. Hope you're well.
