Below the Fold

Stuvac rolls on, with just 2 more days now to finish my last paper of the semester. Then just two more finals and I'll be done. Looking forward to trying new restaurants next week, and Thanksgiving dinner which we will be having at our place. As my last final is the 25th as well, it will be a big celebratory feast for that as well. Any suggestions for dishes that should be made would be appreciated, and feel free to post recipes in the comments. It's going to be a multicultural affair, so no dish is off limits as long as it sounds good. Oh, and will someone please tell Lisa to stop humming the super mario bros. theme song, especially the bit when time is running out and the sounds start moving faster. Not that I really mind it so much as I can't get them out of my head for the rest of the night. Also, we found one of those paint your own pottery studios today walking home from centennial park, as well as a coffee shop called centennial perk.

Comments:

happy thanksgiving! no recipes to suggest, i've always gone out to a nice chinese restaurant for thanksgiving. yummy - greasy chinese food...
i saw this (http://www.litiholo.com/hologram_kits.htm) on slashdot and couldn't help but think of you. i'm almost tempted to buy it ... if only it weren't $99. [imagine me trying to sing 'memory' from cats now - maybe that can edge out the super mario brothers song from your head.]

I saw the hologram thing too and had the same reaction. Almost made me want to do it and go show them and see if we can get them to mark us up a bit.
