Presenting... In Person...

Just finished my group presentation for Biocompatibility. It went well, and I think if there was a prize for group dynamics we definitely would have won it. Our presentation flowed seamlessly from one person to another with smooth handoffs and slide transitions. The questions and answers were handled by all, with no one person dominating and each person helping out when it was needed. I really think I lucked out in regards to my group members. After all, how many times do you get assigned to a group where you all throw a party to celebrate the end of the project complete with pizza, ice cream, and Tim Tams. Plus I got to actually meet and interact with people who weren't international postgrad students- always a plus as well.

What exactly are tim tams? Glad it all went well. Mom

Tim Tams are a yummy Australian delight. They are, in their purest form, a chocolate cookie covered in a chocolate shell with a chocolate center. However, there are numerous variations whereby the chocolate center is replaced by fudge, caramel, dark chocolate, tia maria and several others. All are extremely yummy and all tend to get eaten quickly when a package is opened. You'll try them soon, don't worry.

I want some Tim Tams! If you mail anything, mail Tim Tams to New Jersey! - Janice

Glad your presentation went so well. We didn't expect anything less from you! Having a good team helps too. You deserve the celebration.
Love from G and G

Now I am salivating! Mom
