I'm home. Colby is here. We went into New York today, and did some touristy stuff and saw Dream a Little Dream, an off-broadway show about The Mamas and The Papas, which was really a lot fun and interesting. I learned lots that I didn't know about them, and we got to hear wonderful music. Lots of other stuff is going on too, but I'll get into it all later. For now though, I'm home, some of my stuff is home and I'm working on that whole "get a life, get a job and go buy a friend" thing. Someone who reads this might understand that. Maybe. 0 comments Sunday, June 22, 2003
Im sitting on my floor with a bare bones computer set up after spending all day moving everything out. All my furniture and stuff are now over at Janice's with the exception of my computer and what Im bringing on the plane. Time to take a nap now after a bit of reading the new Harry Potter. 0 comments Friday, June 20, 2003
Ever feel like the words can't exactly be found to describe the whole jumble of feelings that are going on? This is one of those times. And Im listening to Lullaby, by Trout Fishing in America the lyrics which were transcribed here by Colby. 0 comments So suddenly it is time to graduate. Funny how it creeps up on you like that. Not just in the short term, but the long term too. This isn't going to be a sentimental post, but I wanted to say a quick thank you to Meg, Jen, Kim, Tamica, Ankur and Kristen. It was wonderful painting the rock on the lakefill tonight, and the toasts afterward were amazing. I'm so happy that I got to know you all and that I feel like a part of the PARC crew. Hooray for bunnies! 0 comments Wednesday, June 18, 2003

"Can I interest you in a tuna steak?" -Megs almost opening line on the phone last night. Apparently Jen thought she deserved to be quoted too. 0 comments Monday, June 16, 2003
It's weird thinking of things as the last something. It feels like whatever I do now will always be the last time it will be like this for a long time. 0 comments Saturday, June 14, 2003

It felt weird to walk out of tech today for the last time as officially doing work there. The last of my finals are over, but it was kind of an odd end to my last quarter as I had no real finals to study for, only several papers to write. Now I have to get started on life. How much like every other soon to be or recent college grad do I sound like. Turtle! Yay for randomness and individuality. 0 comments Sunday, June 08, 2003

It feels like I haven't posted in ages, maybe it's the lack of a good night sleep in a few days and combination of everything finishing up here and trying to figure out what to do with my life. Regardless, Im getting there and finals are almost finished and it will soon be time to move on. When did all this happen? 0 comments Wednesday, June 04, 2003
So today was the day I was supposed to get lots of things done. I took no real breaks today after I had lunch and still managed only to cross off 2 things from my to do list. Tomorrow I will have to get writing on my final papers for my food seminar and tissue engineering. The best part of tonight though was making dinner. I threw together a cream of asparagus soup using fresh asparagus from the Farmers market, and it was really good. Even Eric liked it which was high praise from a guy who doesn't like asparagus. 0 comments Tuesday, June 03, 2003
It's comforting to know that even once we get out of college, there are still times that we are up until 4 in the morning doing work. After writing an email to what is known in college as a "real world person" at 2:30 central, I got a reply back 15 minutes later from the east coast (3:45 am). She had just finished preparing a presentation for tomorrow. It just put a smile on my face to know that those stay up until the break of dawn skills might actually be useful someday. 0 comments Sunday, June 01, 2003
