So i went to the hospital today to watch a stent-graft implantation, and after fainting wrote a nice little piece to put up here. The notebook i wrote in was then used to take notes during Dr. Matsumora's presentation, and was taken by another group member to type up. So, the little notebook with lots of personal stories, lists of things to do and important ideas/concepts and other fun stuff is sitting in someone elses hands. In short, I can't post what I wrote, and I hope nothing too personal is being divulged to hundreds of others...

An addendum to the "They misunderestimated me" calender:
Carter: He has to have an LD or something?
John: So give the man 30 extra minutes on the SAT but don't make him president!

Another weekend, another "wow, where the hell did the time go." So much for catching up on all my reading. Between my dad's visit on Friday and Saturday, Mee-ow on Saturday night and the Super Bowl there wasn't much time left for that whole schol work thing. I guess thats what the late nights are going to be for.

Well better to update than write my paper. Although I am finding it pretty easy to write, I should have started it earlier, and not taken a break in the middle, cause I still have 2 more articles to talk about and I would like to get a decent night sleep tonight. After this paper I just get lots of reading to do for the weekend, since Im behind in pretty much every class at this point. I also have to catch up on emailing, pay the bills, and clean up the apartment once we have a bathroom again (I'll post about that whole story later). Anyway, this weekend looks like a combination of dinner with my Dad at MK because the lodge mentioned a couple of weeks ago closed down last year, unbeknownst to us. So that will be friday night, and then Saturday is Mee-Ow and Ankurs 21st birthday, which should be fun. Other than that, no plans but we will see what lies ahead...

OK, so in my dreams, my roomates and I are astronauts who somehow make it back safely after which Brian gets a rubber band and Mo gets roses, even if they were for John. I go on long car rides with Meg that end up in the middle of nowhere (a nowhere we somehow recognize as a place where we both learned to dance) at which point we get out and throw frogs into crocodiles mouths as we blow whistles to distract the people following us and who we thought were scary, but who turns out to be Nish, even though when we are hiding in the bathroom we hear multiple voices. Colby kept calling and using my daytime minutes. Camp got another visit and it rained while they were working on the banners outside, and my dad and I stayed on the 4th floor of a hotel, but kept getting shut out of elevators. Is anyone getting this down?

After years of dealing with my father on whether or not it was alright if I have a drink when we go out to eat, I finally turn 21 (ok its a while already) and now we are discussing where to go for martinis before dinner next week. My how times have changed. And for those of you interested, we will be heading to the Blackhawk Lodge at 8pm on the 24th of January.

OK, so no color photography, but instead I get developmental psychology which should be pretty interesting on its own. Sad that no more photography, but nothing I can do about it. Instead I get to learn about kids! yay! Other than that the first two days of class have been pretty normal, and its time to get down to doing the work already. I've never had so much reading before in my life. When have I ever taken 3 non tech classes?

Back at school now. Content to be reappearing shortly, so don't go anywhere.
