Everyone should go see the They Might Be Giants film Gigantic (A tale of two Johns) when it comes out. If you go look at the trailer, I'm in the part where they show the crowd at a concert. This was taped at the Polish National House in Brooklyn, New York. Woo-hoo! I'm going to be not quite visible in a movie! 0 comments The feelings of happiness that lie just two hours are those that people wait whole lifetimes to achieve. Im just one of the lucky ones for whom finishing an Orgo final gives them this great joy. 0 comments Monday, December 10, 2001

Looks like by brief fame on blogdex is all but over. I'm now sitting comfortably at number 45 here so I think my traffic will die down a little after the spike of several hundred people visiting yestrday. I was sitting at the number one spot on their list (which was prominantely featured on the front page) from 7:50 am on December 6th until 3:21 am on Decmber 7th. Apparently at least 9 of them even linked through to Lindsays page from mine. The real question now is, how many of them will return. Sadly, I expect it to drop down to about one if I am lucky. I just hope that wasn't my 15 minutes of fame... 0 comments Thursday, December 06, 2001
Now that the entire day has gone by with me getting nothing done, and prolonging it even further with this post, I guess I should get started on writing the midterm due tomorrow at 5 so I can start studying for the other midterm that I have to start at 5. 0 comments Ok, so now I officially have a small link section on the front page. And as a special guest to the many visiting from Lindsay's page, you can finally see the long awaited pictures of her simply by clicking here. How could I resist? 0 comments Wednesday, December 05, 2001
Just a little bit of playing around with the format of the front page after being inspired by Lindsay today at lunch. This was also a convient way to get a link to her blog up since I think I will be on hers shortly. I'll eventually be adding a real links section on the left or right, but this will do for now. 0 comments Might as well jump on the bandwagon here and add a link to KPMG who apparently doesn't like people to link to them without agreeing to their formal linking policy. All this from Chris who also seems to host The Trail from the game associated with AI (the murder of Evan Chan). Small world, isn't it. 0 comments Monday, December 03, 2001
This weekend I got to visit the lovely town of St. Charles, IL. I even found another store that has the cool handmade mirrors, furniture and stuff that I like, but they are prohibitively expensive for a lowly college student (and probably for many years thereafter). 0 comments Thank @home for the lack of updates as I was one of nearly a million who lost internet access at about 5am this past Saturday. It's back to using a lowly modem again. Anyway, I can only hope that they were high with their estimate of 2 to 12 days till repair. Due to the outage, I also missed posting about World AIDS day, so everyone should go to linkandthink and read some of the stories from there. 0 comments |
