Yanks tie it 2 games to 2 with a 2 out 2 run HR in the bottom of the ninth and a 2 out solo shot by Jeter in the bottom of the tenth. Woo Hoo! Other random facts: Joe Torre's contract ran out at 11:59pm October 31, 2001. Derek Jeter is the only major league player to bat in November so far, and baseball as a whole is batting 1.000 in November with 1AB for a home run.

I know this is like 2 minutes later than the last post, but I figured different subject matters should get different posts. I like the wind a lot. It was strangely fun to just let my shirt blow back into almost a cape, and watch a kid dressed as a ghost be blown over (he wasn't hurt, he just kind of tipped over when a gust came). It's almost as if the wind can cleanse things here, and bring new life to anything. I always feel better when it is windy out.
In related nature news, tonight is a full moon, the first one on halloween since I was born, so everyone should look cause there won't be another one till 2020.

Sometimes you don't realize how much you miss things until you get to do them again. I want to go back to a time when I get to go door to door and have strangers give me things, and talk to me and smile warmly and enjoy themselves through my happiness. Now the closest I get is going from room to room and having a bucket offered to me from someone who is on the phone with 2 people on hold. A slight smile of acknowledgement and it's back to work. How am I any different from them when I am walking around in my black shirt with my orange hawaiin shirt on top. It's not a costume, but its still more than most was my thinking.
Do all posts on life in general become personal rants like this? I hope not. Sometimes I want to have just pure unedited "this was my day" kind of stuff and not have to think about how the events fit into my entire life and how writing about them will help me reflect upon them and build me into a better person.

I just realized that I haven't had a case of the hiccups in several years. Now, that may seem odd, but the really weird thing is that at about the time I stopped hiccuping, I started multiple sneezing. For those who don't know me, this is a series of anywhere from about 5 to 10 sneezes that happens on a fairly regular basis (almost daily) and is definately not allergies. Learn more about hiccup cures here

Apparently something is wrong on Blogger's end, and this won't be published till that is fixed, but it is 2:10am on Sun. (With the hour back, 3:10am without it).
Just got back to my room after a long night of fun. Went to dinner at Jimmy John's and hung out there for probably longer than I've been there total in my whole life before tonight combined. Then after changing I went over to Frances Willard, where I spent the next couple hours in a hot room with sweaty pushy people, but danced and had a good time with Meg, Jen, and Tamica. Came back to by apartment and went next door and played Ultimate Outburst with Eric, John, Mo and her two friends from Minnesota Sarah and Richard. Following that we played charades for a while, which I wasn't sure I was going to like the first time I did it (a while ago), but then realized how much fun it is. Then we just hung out for a while, talked about lots of stuff, mostly without sexual overtones (or undertones for that matter) and had a good time. Then I came back ready to go to bed and float tomorrow. Yes, at Norris, with the prospies, wearing a giant Ask Me button. Come see me, even though this post will be up after I'm already done there probably.
And now for todays quote: "Censored" ~Meg, who has the greatest, funniest quotes

Why does it always rain when you are on your way back from a class, and never on the way? At least then I might carry an umbrella and not have to change clothes 3 times in one day just to keep dry. Every time I go to class it is nice out, and by the time class is over, and I get home, I am soaked to the skin and another garment lies hanging over our shower rod.
In other news, I watched most of the leaves get blown off a tree today, it was really sad.

Heard at about 9pm as I was crossing Orrington at Foster:
"You want to go to the library and get some ass?" ~random guy on a cell phone.

My belt is broken. This may not seem like a big deal, but this belt has been with me almost daily for many years. Ok, truth be told, only one of the braids ripped, but it is of course right where I normally notch the belt, so I either get it too tight or too loose now. I guess I another thing from my childhood is partly lost forever. How sad.

On the phone with Meg while I type this. Just got back from my Systems Physiology midterm which was ok, but the good news is that an A+ is 90% or more. Tomorrow is project pumpkin, coordinated by the aforementioned Meg Rauen who is doing a wonderful job with it. I will be taking pictures there tomorrow so she can see what it looks like since she will be working downtown while it is going on.

Archives still aren't working for internet explorer, but I guess I don't have to worry about that for a week.

Yay! I got it to work with a whole two minutes before I have to go out to dinner. Netsacpe users rejoice!

Here is a progress update- It works, but only in internet explorer for some reason. Netscape seem to keep trying to kick me into the archive page which doesn't exist for some reason. I guess I'll work on it more later as I'm about to go out with my mom to Pete Millers- for the french fries of course.
Poor Northwestern we lost 38-35 against Penn State. That is just not happy at all.

I got invited to a masquerade ball so I need a costume. Any suggestions, feel free to email me here Ok, I guess that is enough for my first post. I need to make sure it works first. Here it goes...
